1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EmberSays ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use EmberSays.

2. Nature of Service

EmberSays provides platonic emotional emotional support via text-based messaging.

CRITICAL DISCLAIMERS:

  • NOT A DATING SERVICE: There is no possibility of meeting in person, video calling, or forming a romantic/sexual relationship.
  • NOT THERAPY: Our conversation partners are not licensed mental health professionals. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • NOT A CRISIS LINE: If you are suicidal or in immediate danger, you must contact emergency services (988 in the US).

3. Code of Conduct

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for abuse. You agree NOT to:

  • Send sexually explicit messages, photos, or requests ("sexting").
  • Harass, threaten, or verbally abuse conversation partners.
  • Request personal contact information (phone numbers, social media, addresses) from conversation partners.
  • Attempt to meet conversation partners in person.

Violation of these rules will result in immediate account termination without refund.

4. Subscription & Refunds

Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time.

Refunds: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers. If you are unsatisfied within the first 7 days, contact support for a full refund. After 7 days, no refunds will be issued for the current billing cycle.

5. Limitation of Liability

EmberSays is provided "as is." We are not liable for any emotional distress, reliance on advice given by conversation partners, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
